Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race - Guide to the Best Restaurants, Bars & Pubs along the Thames. The Oxford Cambridge Boat Race often simply referred to as "The Boat Race" covers a course just over 4 miles long along the River Thames from Putney Bridge in London to Mortlake in Surrey. The course is also lined with some of the best riverside pubs in London serving good food and excellent real ales.

of the Oxford-Cambridge Boat race: From 1927 to 2004 the BBC gave exclusive coverage of the event but since 2005 LBC covered the event. It was the first time commercial radio covered the event. LBC 97.3 FM and LBC News 1152 AM are now the official radio stations for the Boat Race. They also broadcast the race live over the internet.
