Official TWINE poster "unveiled"

Fans were treated to an early preview of the official poster last week...not by owners MGM, but on-line E-zine 'Eon'. Click here to visit Eon.

The new poster, left - featured on the front of the MGM Autumn Press kit - is thought to be one of the mainstays of the marketing campaign, and features Denise Richards and Sophie Marceau both in revealing attire, positioned in front of a silhouetted P-99 wielding Pierce Brosnan. In the bottom left hand corner the Q boat and a ski-ing figure can be glimpsed, reinforcing the notion that the ski chase and the boat chase are the highlights of the film. In the top right, is villain Renard (Robert Carlyle).

This poster is in stark contrast to the teaser poster (see side bar) which is predominantly black. The new official poster is one third white, one third explosion and one third Pierce Brosnan.

Pierce Brosnan observes the total eclipse in awe Bond is Go...theme song confirmed & test screening in the space of a week

All theme song rumours were laid to rest a little over a week ago when it was officially announced that Garbage, a "British" band, would be the next in a long line of distinguished artists to perform the theme song. The number, which will be heard over the credits at the beginning of the film, has already been recorded. It is not yet known if Garbage will assist in producing extra music for the film. Visit our Garbage section by clicking here.

Meanwhile, at least one test screening has already taken place. Viewers arrived at the cinema expecting to see a picture entitled "Destiny", but instead were treated to a rough cut of The World Is Not Enough. They were then asked to fill in a questionnaire once the film had finished.
