The first recording session"
Thanks to modern technology, you can actually record CD-quality audio wherever you like. The recording was done by a good friend of ours, Klemens Trenkle, who by the way owns Basel's most creative music store, Music X-Dream. We recorded eight tracks simultaneously onto a DARWIN hard disk recorder, not taking the usual studio approach, but everybody playing together until the mood captured on the disk is just right. This production method may not lead to over-precise productions, where every drum hit was thought over, but it captures some live feeling and allows us to interact with each other. We decided to do all the financing and producing on our own, which invariably leads to the situation that you, the band, have to pay for everything, think of everything, carry everything, plug everything in and at the end of the day, you also get to play a little music ... But the atmosphere was congenial, especially with Klemens, our good friend and engineer, who couldn't lose his temper even when suddenly the headphone amp that had been working the day before, seemed to have died during the night. So, the recording went smoothly and in two days, we recorded these seven tracks.
