The second recording session"

Once again, it's time to schlepp the beloved but heavy Fender Rhodes electric warthog ... this time, up four flights of stairs, to the domain of Analogue Eddie, who, besides being a multimedia wizard, rules supreme over his kingdom: the Jungle Studios.

Here, under the roof, we recorded our tunes again, this time onto 16 tracks of digital audio, and this time, without data loss. To play in such close quarters was challenging at first, but in the end, it brought the group together, lending the recordings an intimacy and interaction which could not have been achieved otherwise. After two days of sweating under the roof or stopping recordings during a thunderstorm, because the noise of the rain was leaking into the microphones (OK, we had a couple of cold cocktails in the meantime), our work was done, the master media were carefully transported to TreuTom studios.

Here, under the aegides of Tom Jackson, our CD was mixed down onto two-track DAT tape. What remains is some mastering and the actual production of the CDs, which is what we're doing right now. Check our Hear Us Play! page for the announcement of the CD inauguration party (soon to come ...)
