This is one of my Granddaughters (Gabrielle) checking-out some Pampass Grass which has yet to bloom. Princess Anne can be seen mowing grass in the background.
There are two species, Cortaderia Selloana and Cortaderia Jubata. A lot of people (who don't know any better) call these plants "weeds". I prefer to think of them as "Ornamental Grass".
Would y'all believe some of the nut cases who live along the California coastline in the US consider these plants to be invasive weeds ? Shows ya how much they know !
