Internships and Such

In 2005 I did this one internship at the Morehouse School of Medicine. It's cosponsored by the CDC/ATSDR. I thought it would be really sweet but its turned out to be a chain gang/slave driven operation. Very disappointed. Very disappointed. And if I had known I was going to put in as much work as I did I would have done this to count for 6 credits at Appalachian. This past summer (2006) I did an internship through the Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program/Summer Research Opportunites Program at Michigan State University with a professor/researcher in their Department of Epidemiology and College of Veterinary Medicine at the National Food Safety and Toxicology Center. It really was an awesome experience. We worked with multidrug resistant Salmonella by using microbiology and molecular epidemiology methods. Lots of good stuff came out of it.

Keep moving, one way <<<<< or the other >>>>>
