But enough for now about public health. What are some more of the things I like? I love sports - football is the greatest in my mind. I compete in track but my heart is always in football. Prefer college over pro these days. I think there is some great play in college - and they definitely do it for the love of the game.
I love to read. My favorite authors are Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. I finally got to read Dance of Death and The Book of the Dead. Superb as usual! Check them out!
My favorite poet is Langston Hughes. Not much I can say except his writing is deep and portrays thoughts immaculately. Very interesting. I am also a fan of Maya Angelou. She is a literary genius in the truest sense of the word. An excellent speaker as well. I like the Alphabet Series from Sue Grafton and the works of Patricia Cornwell. So perhaps you can tell that I like mystery/thrillers but I can also tame it up a bit with the poetry and autobiographies. My mama got me to read A.G. Gaston's Biography Black Titan. That was very inspirational and interesting. I also am a inspirational books and of books that are about leadership and leaders. I also finished a great inspirational one called Angel of Harlem which is a fictional book based on the real life of Dr. May Chinn and is written by Kuwana Hausley. Pretty interesting read. I've got a list of books I want to get through soon including Freakonomics and The Most Southern Place on Earth. Hop to it!
