According to a press release, Marcus Miller started the project Legends by approaching Steve Gadd
David Sanborn and Joe Sample to record an album. When planning a tour, Miller asked Eric Clapton to
support the band on few dates, which resulted in Clapton becoming a part of the Legends
himself. The all-star band played on ten dates all over Europe on huge festivals. There are plans to record an album, but unfortunately it is very hard to get all five members into one studio at the same time. |
