Adam & Eve

Adam and Eve has been represented quite a lot on the Internet and there are many people who are afraid for their children to find out. And frankly, I don't blame them. Why? Because unfortunately, they are being represented in sex and pornography sites.
People today associate the first couple with illicit sex and perversion. And that wasn't even the sin they committed! After all, God did command them to have children, right? Now would that be obvious that sex was good? We need a better representation of the biblical characters and our first Parents. We should not blame them but forgive them and "honor our Father and Mother". (I am not condoning their sin, but if we were there would we have done differently?) What can we as Christian Naturists do about it? We can preach God and Naturism all we want on the Internet but if their PC's are "tuned out" from any form of language that might show a human body with less than what you find on a G-rated movie, there is not much we are able to tell them. How can we get the message out to these folks who find the human body that is created in Gods Image, offensive? I was on one of the web "search engines" looking up "Adam and Eve" and the most it came up with was sexual sites (until this site was created). Too bad the churches and Christian groups are not doing any better. What can we do?

A Special Link to a Poem on Pornography by David L. Hatton 9/16/94 (but don't forget to return here).

In the beginning,... God created man in His own image, after His own likeness. (The book of Genesis in The Holy Bible.)

Since God created Man, that is, human beings, both male and female, naked in the first place, then it would stand to reason that we, being naked human beings, were here first, not clothed people? So anything done after the fact would be the result of humans, not God. So therefore clothing is a man made thing. God created trees in the garden to feed mankind. He did not say that these trees were for clothing.

It is interesting that God came to the garden that fateful day, looking for Adam and Eve. Why? Was it because He thought they did something wrong? Was it because he was carrying the latest catalogue of fashions for them to choose from? Or was it because He just simply wanted to see His children? I'd take the latter. Sure, He knew they did something wrong, but I would dare say He was hoping that they would run right up to Him just as they were, naked and all, and cried out "Abba!* Father!" and cried for forgiveness. But sadly, they hid instead. What kind of world would we be living in today had they did just that?

*Abba (Aramaic) means Father or Daddy. These are the same words Christ prayed just before his crucifixion. Mark 14:36. Also see Romans 8:15.
