About Band Cheiro da Bahia
An unequalled joyfulness that pervades all audiences regardless of age, nationality or
social status.
A
stylish performance that swings sensually and goes beyond the boundaries of the stage as
audiences sing along, jump up and down, dance and enter the rhythms of Bahia.
In
addition to carefully studied arrangements, Band Cheiro da Bahia invests in
choreography. The discernment with which songs are chosen, and an emphasis on
communication and interaction with the audience define the band's uniqueness.
Set
up 9 years ago, comprising musicians, dancers, and a lead singer, in all, 9 experienced
professionals, it has now reached its maturity at the national level and is seeking
European audiences.
The
repertoire is always made up of well known songs and is flexible enough to adapt to a wide
range of events and audiences. The aim is to ensure that all feel they can relate to the
lyrics and easy cheerful dance steps thus instigating a joyful and harmonious interaction
between the band and its audience.
