Feast of the Transfiguration
- Blessing of grapes
Our church celebrated on August 6th 2004 the Feast of the Transfiguration,
the transformation of Our Lord Jesus Christ on Mount Tabor to Peter, James
and John. In this day the Melkite Church performs the blessing of grapes,
symbols of new life. The Feast was a success and was featured on local newspapers.
