What is cosplay? Cosplay is the short form of "Costume Play".

Cosplay is come from Japan and it is popular in Tawain, Hong kong, China, USA and other countries too. The meaning of Cosplay is to act and dress up as the comics or animation characters and the Japan visual bands that you like/love. Cosplay is started when the comics are created. But as what I say, cosplay actually is created in Japan that the game company hired some models to model their game characters. From there, people find cosplay is very interesting and it continues until nowadays.

J Rock cosplay is different from animate side as people are cosplaying the idols that they like. The different is J Rock Cosplayers cosplay what the Japanese visual band artists or rocker wear only. Their costume is wonderful and beautiful; the make up is specialy heavy. I love it so much!!! However, it seems lots of the people are scared by us.....> ___ <

Many people are caught attention by J Rock cosplayers and spend a lot of films on them. Nowadays, young teenage in Japan, Hong Kong and Twain etc are affected by Cosplay very much. They spend a lot of time and money in preparing one costume, but they really feel happy when the costume are finished and enjoy in the Cosplay event. That's what I feel too. A comic's event is called as "Comics Market" in Japan, Tawai and HK. Whenever there is a Comics World, there will have Cosplay. The people who cosplay are known as "Cosplayers" who mainly attract many visitors to come into the Comics World.

Cosplay on the other hand is functioned as comics' advertisement because they are wearing the comics' costumes that are well known to public. Comics World normally holds four times once a year. Cosplay really take a important part in Comics World, as a lot of customers and the stores' owner are the cosplayers themselves, if there is no cosplayers, I can confirm there will be very quiet and boring. The cosplayers are happy to be taken photos or take photos with other cosplayers in order to have a good memory.
