Unknown Fly 7

? sp., body length 15mm
Pictures taken near Alexandra Hill during early winter. This insect looks like a Crane Fly but it has patterned wings and long antenna.
Unknown Fly  8
wpe1D.jpg (65882 bytes)  wpe1F.jpg (70605 bytes)
? sp., body length 10mm
We think this is a fly, or it could be a Treehopper.
Unknown Fly  9
wpe1.jpg (15175 bytes)
? sp., body length 8mm
Picture taken in Toohey Forest near Mt Gravatt during late summer. This fly has the yellow back banded abdomen like a Hoverfly. However, its wings vein suggests it could be a Flash Fly.

Please advise if you recognize any of them. Thank you.
