- Followings are caterpillars that yet to be identified. Please advise if you known what are
they.

- Unknown Caterpillar on grass stem

- Length 50mm

- Unknown Thin Caterpillar hiding along the leaf edge

- Length 60mm

- Unknown Caterpillar with golden hair on Acacia

- length 20mm found on Acacia leaf in late summer.

- Unknown Caterpillar with silk web

- This caterpillar build a tangle web around itself.

- Group of small Unknown Caterpillars
- Length 10mm
- Group of small hairy caterpillars feeding on gum tree leaf. 6mm each in length.

- Length 20mm

- Unknown Caterpillar with golden hair

- Length 40mm
- Found feeding on gum tree leaf during early summer.

- Few days later, it turned into a cacoon. Two to three weeks later, a Tachinid
Fly came out instead of a moth from the cacoon. The Tachinid Fly came out
directly, not the fly larvae as in most other case. Only one fly came out and it
was dark grey in colour 10mm in body length, look exactly as the Tachinid Flies
that parasite on Crow and
Wanderer
butterflies, although a bit larger in size.

- Unknown Caterpillar feeds on Banksia leaf
- Length 30mm
- We found the golden yellow hairy caterpillar on Banksia leaf. We took it
home and put it in a jar with some Banksia leaves. Two day later the
caterpillar disappeared. We look for a while and noticed that it became a pupa
attached on one of the leaf stem. It was hardly be noticed. However, we had
wait over months and still nothing came out from the pupa. We are still
waiting..........

- Picture was taken in Karawatha Forest during mid summer. They may not be the
Moth caterpillars.

- Length 40mm
- Picture was taken in Karawatha Forest during mid summer. The caterpillar
looks like a Skipper
caterpillar.
