This moth is common in Brisbane bush. We can easily find them resting or flying openly in the Eucalyptus forest.

The about pictures show different mating couples. We found them spend quite a long time in mating. One thing interesting is their pictures from other reference books or web sites, most showing they are mating. This is not the case for other moth species.

The moths are look like wasps. Its wings are black with yellow-orange spots. It has black and yellow bands on its body.
