cylindrical body. Their rostrum is medium length.

found this weevil feeding alone on a young Acacia tree in Karawatha Park during
early simmer. This weevil has beautiful metallic green dots patterns on black. This weevil is famous in Australia natural
history because it was the first scientifically described Australian insect
