"Where do I find boron?"

Boron ranks about 38th in natural abundances among the elements in the earth's crust.

Boron is evenly distributed in the earth's crust in small amounts. It can be found in some mineral deposits from evaporated lakes. It can also be found as orthoboric acid in volcanic spring water.

The most common deposits of boron compounds are found in Kazakhstan, Turkey, United States, and in a strip in South America from Peru to Argentina.

Large sources of kernite can be found in the Mojane desert in California. .
