The Butterscotch Chronicles ~ page 3

Here's our little sleepy head.
Don't let these pictures deceive you. It turns out he has his mother's genes. He's a little terrorist! Sometimes, even the gigantic, furless, masseuses find him hard to tolerate, and, they think everything is cute!

Sleepy head.
Quality time.
One day, the wife wanted to go out with friends. She suggested I spend some quality time with Sunny. Naturally, I interpreted that to mean, I take a long nap, while he sits quietly and behaves himself. I woke up when I heard Saffy coming in. Then, I spent the rest of the day trying to explain how the boy got himself trapped in the giant's toilet!
Half drowned kitten.
I'll be good, Daddy.
Another time, just after letting Sunny off punishment and having him promise to be good, I let down my guard for less than a half hour. When I came back, he had torn apart two of the giant's plants and had fallen asleep across the evidence! They say a criminal always returns to the scene of the crime ... This one never bothered to leave it!
The crime scene.
Sweet ...
Not only is he willfully destructive, but he's developing a rebellious streak, as well. Here we were, just chatting about our day, when out of the blue he explodes with "I hate this house and I hate you!"
I just keep repeating to myself, "just wait til he's 18 months old, then you can hand him his walking papers."
... and sour!
Peace & quiet.
OK, I don't really mean that.
Please, accept my apologies. I'm not really that cruel.

Sometimes it helps to go sit out on the back porch for a little time away from the noise and chaos inside.

Just a little time to gather my cat thoughts ...
He's YOUR son.
Well, even if Sunny did inherit his mother's ADHD, I still love the infuriating little slugger. After all, he did inherit a few of my many excellent traits.
He's devestatingly handsome, smart as a whip, and modest ... just like his old man.
He's MY son.
I guess I really shouldn't complain. I've got a darling little wife, and a little chip off the old block for a son.

My fine family
We're just a very fine, and happy, family of cats. Of that, I'm certain you'll agree.
