Eurosport Best Presented was won by Michael Ovens (above left), John Wells narrowly missing on a clean sweep by taking second in the judging (above right).

Eurosport racing started straight after  Open group 12.  With this many entries there was no time for separate qualifying, so the finals were seeded from the previous qualifying.
Four of the drivers had to catch a plane back home to Sweden, so elected to run in the first final. With these plus "Dubbs"  the "H" final  hardly seemed likely to be the slowest final.  Lasse Aberg set the pace and won by a handsome margin.  His score was some 20 laps faster that the winning Open Group 12 time - but surely there were some quicker times to come.  Nobody got near the Lasse's score for some hours.  Indeed the "D" final produced more crashes than have been seen in a single final for many a season.
In the C final John Wells and Lars Noerkjar finished 1-2, but that still left Lasse top by over 8 laps.   James Cleave won the B final by some 9 laps to displace Lasse to second place. Paul Harwood was second in the B while Charlie Gooding's third in the B final time was a few feet short of  Lars Noerkjaer's second in the C.
Below  - James Cleave marshaling the A final  in the esses - could his B final time be beaten by A finalists Mark Harwood, Greg Harwood, Brian Saunders, Matti Fyhr, Lee Parsons, "Woody" Keith Gibson or George Kimber?   Race controller Rob Lees (below right) will make sure we all know!

So surely the A final would produce the winner???   For 7 segments it looked like Matti Fyhr was heading for overall victory, then a break down (motor out) in the last segment saw Lee Parsons take the lead.  A quick check at the scores showed Lee was only on pace to match Lasse Aberg's distance - and at the end ... we had to wait for the parts to be collected to be sure who was second ...   James Cleave had won (in the B final)  by 6 laps from Lasse Aberg (in the H final). Lasse had taken second by just 0.06 laps from Lee Parsons with Paul Harwood 4th, John Wells 5th,  Lars Noerkjar 6th, Charlie Gooding 7th and Paul Shepherd 8th.
