The event was held on 22/23 February  2002 on the Terry Clark's Wildfields Raceway, near Guildford. This uses the UK Black track formerly owned by BSCRA.

Many thanks to the Terry and  family for the friendly atmosphere, for putting the track in such excellent condition and a special thanks for the catering.  We all enjoyed the meeting and look forward to many more races at Wildfields. A special thanks to Chantel on race control, and to Mick Langridge for the photos

Charlie  Gooding  won production for a record 5th year running, and took second in Open Group 12 to take the joint Championship lead. Here he is collecting his trophies  from Terry Clark.  Charlie used a Champion Turbo Flex chassis with a Pro Slot Group 12 - as did most of the field. Pict0073.jpg (577562 bytes)
Open Group 12 was won by Brian Saunders using this BSP open group 12 Chasssis. He joins Charlie as championship leader. It was a good days for Brian's chassis, as BSP Open Group 12s took most of the top places.

George Kimber  won Eurosport with this Trigilio chassis.  The final developed into a 3 way contest between George Brian Galpin and Brian Saunders.  Both Brian G and George had separate major accidents in the last segment, fortunately neither had serious car damage!   George's impressive times on the unfavoured red and white lanes  gained more than he lost to Brian Galpin's terrific charge in the last few segments on the middle lanes.
