Sort of a bastard reamer-drill, this hand tool can make or enlarge 3/16, 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8" holes in soft material for quicky jobs without setup. ![]() The Unibit comes in several sizes and ranges. The top one drills 1/8"-1/2" by 1/32" increments while the lower drills 1/4"-3/4" by 1/16" increments in up to 1/8" material. They have self starting tips and can handle mild steel. ![]() Another bastard tool, the holesaw uses a pilot bit to center and a hacksaw like blade curved in an arc.
