A small variation of the single blade and anvil shear, nibblers are very handy for chewing away small pieces from sheets to enlarge holes and trim to lines. Most can cut up to .040" brass or aluminum. The Easywood is more comfortable to use and maneuver. Cutting curves leaves jagged edge, which must be smoothed by filing or grinding.

POWER NIBBLERS
For faster work, power nibblers are available, electrically or pneumatically driven. Most are too large for model use. With care the one shown can be used for more extensive jobs; even customizing computer tower.
