I created the page with this poem in mind.
I suppose I could have thought of a rainbow theme. That would have seemed appropriate.
But to me, the sunset spoke perfectly. Not only of the ending of a beautiful day, but also of the promise of a new day. A new life.
Of the meeting again with someone loved... and missed... and held so dear.
Creating of the Page
The background was created by opening the picture in Paint Shop Pro, opening a new image and flooding the image with the selected color. Then "texture effects"; and the "blinds" effect with the color set to black.
For the Gradient Frame, I created the gradient from the colors in the picture, then made it seamless.
The page background tile was chosen from the picture but then, not liking any of them, I did adjust the color with Paint Shop's "brightness/contrast" color adjust tool.
