What are some of the things we think about when we think of Easter?
That's right!
We think of bunnies, fuzzy chicks, painting Easter eggs, jelly beans and beautiful baskets full of fun things to eat and do!
I have a very special Easter surprise for you!
His name is "Mr. Hoppy". "Mr. Hoppy" can do something very special! What do you think it is?
Is "Mr. Hoppy" getting ready to sing??
Nooo!
Is "Mr. Hoppy" getting ready to paint Easter eggs??
Noooo!
Is "Mr. Hoppy" getting ready to put on a fancy Easter hat??
Nooooo!
Well, then, what is "Mr. Hoppy" getting ready to do?
That's right!
"Mr. Hoppy" is getting ready to dance!!
Have Mom turn on the speakers and do the "Bunny Hop" with "Mr. Hoppy"!
Creating the Page
The basket background was created by first creating the "Spring" header, saving it and duplicating it, then "effects"; "texture effects" and "weave". I actually liked two results, the second giving more of a polka dot effect.
To view the second background and the page done in "gifs" instead of text click: here.
The plain tile was created from the background, using the "magic wand" tool and choosing a lighter color of green to stand out from the darker background.
The Font
Because I chose this to be a children's page, I found myself somewhat limited. So many neat fonts out there! I settled on a font called "Apple Garamond" which reminded me of the font "Georgia" in that it is easy to read.
I don't think the kid's would find enjoyable reading in a font I fell in love with called"Scriptina"!
I hope you have enjoyed your visit to my children's page! All graphics and animations were achieved using Jasc Paint Shop Pro and Animation Shop 3.
If you do not have the "Apple Garamond" font on your computer click below to download and a new window will open:
