bunny and mirror

You may remember "Hoppy", the desert
cottontail, from the first page of my
portfolio.

"Hoppy" is here again to wish
everyone a very "Hoppy Easter" and to
share his favorite jello jello recipe with you!

Music to relax and prepare by.

Hoppy's Jello

1 6oz. box orange jello
2 packs frozen raspberries
1 16oz. can sliced peaches

Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water.
Stir in frozen raspberries
breaking them up with a fork.
Continue stirring until mixture
is slightly thick.
Drain peaches reserving juice.
Measure juice and enough cold water
to make (2) 3/4 cups full.
Stir in peaches.

Pour into a pretty bowl and
allow to refridgerate overnight.

Enjoy!

Creating the Page

In this lesson we were asked to create
a page with a seamless side border.
When using a side border a "blank gif" is
needed to keep your content from running
into the border like :this.

One very important thing I learned!
When you create an image with a colored
background like the divider bar on this page,
remember to save a copy of the image without
the background color! Sigh.

Another thing learned is that fonts have
to be carefully chosen. With all the styles
to choose from it is easy to get "carried away"
paying more attention to the font than
the page it is to be used on.
The font chosen to compliment
this page is Georgia.

I guess there is alot to be said
for "learning from doing".

Deep thanks to my instructor Sheila
or I would have never learned anything
like this because I never would have tried it!
