BBM at the movies - Born on the Fourth of July review

            Mr Cruise for once in his life tries to refrain (and manages it for the
     most part) from the ultimate cheese actor that he is in every other film he's
     ever been in and gives a top notch (Oscar nominated) performance in the
     lead role.
           After coming back from Vietnam paralysed from the waist down and
     to a hostile American public Ron Kovic (Tom Cruise) starts to re-evaluate
     his feelings about America's involvement in the conflict and eventually
     becomes an anti-war activist.
