        American Psycho was an entertaining film but I think this was only due to
    the fact that it was funny in places because of the over the top portrayal of
    the lead character Patrick Bateman, discussing the merits of shit eighties bands
    and Phil Collins. The book is supposed to be a satire on the late eighties culture
    where money was pretty much all the characters cared about; I couldn't give
    two shits about the late eighties because I was born in '81.
    You will be entertained if you can handle the axe murders and so on.
    I might read the book one day but I've heard that it's really boring so then again
    I might not.
