Once the urban guerrilla has learned his craft, and completed his training, he must give the greatest attention to the tactics required to carry out revolutionary action. There is no room for the slightest error. Experience teaches us daily that faulty instruction in tactical doctrine invites disaster.
Thieves and bandits use poor tactics and make frequent mistakes. So the urban guerrilla must practice revolutionary tactics and not bandit tactics. This is not the only reason. No urban guerrilla worthy of his name would consider ignoring revolutionary tactics, just as he would not consider carrying out a tactical operation without rigorous planning and execution.
A giant is known by his toe. The same can be said for the urban guerrilla. He is known far and wide for his revolutionary tactics and absolute fidelity to principle.
Proper revolutionary tactics require a knowledge and use of the following elements.
