Turn your calculator on
Press Bottom Left Corner.
Clearing the memory
To clear the entire memory, press Row 3, Column 2 Second button on the top row of keys. (says EDIT on the screen above the key), then Fifth row on the top row of keys (says CLRxy on the screen above the key).

 

Entering data
one variable
Press Row 3, Column 2 Second button on the top row of keys. to enter statistics editing mode.  We will use the name xStat for our list.  So press First button in the top row of buttons..  Enter the first number, then press Bottom Right Corner Bottom Right Corner (twice-to get past the y-values).  Enter the next number, then Bottom Right Corner Bottom Right Corner.  Continue until all the data has been entered.   As your final step, press Row 1, Column 2 to signal the end of the data set.  
two variables
Press Row 3, Column 2 Second button on the top row of keys. to enter statistics editing mode.  We will use the names xStat and yStat for our list.  Press First button in the top row of buttons..  Type in the first x-value, then press Bottom Right Corner.  Type in the corresponding y-value, and press Bottom Right Corner.  Type in the second x-value, then  Bottom Right Corner, the the second y-value, then  Bottom Right Corner.  Continue until all the data has been entered.  As your final step, press Row 1, Column 2 to signal the end of the data.

 

Calculating one-variable statistics
mean (x)
Press Row 3, Column 2 First button in the top row of buttons..  Hit Bottom Right Corner Bottom Right Corner (twice).  Press the 1-VAR option (First button in the top row of buttons.).  The mean is listed as x.
standard deviation for populations (s or sn)
Press Row 3, Column 2 First button in the top row of buttons..  Hit Bottom Right Corner Bottom Right Corner (twice).  Press the 1-VAR option (First button in the top row of buttons.).  The population standard deviation is listed as sx.
standard deviation for samples (s or sn-1)
Press Row 3, Column 2 First button in the top row of buttons..  Hit Bottom Right Corner Bottom Right Corner (twice).  Press the 1-VAR option (First button in the top row of buttons.).  The sample standard deviation is listed as Sx.

Calculating two-variable statistics

r (correlation)
Press Row 3, Column 2 First button in the top row of buttons..  Hit Bottom Right Corner Bottom Right Corner (twice).  Press the LINR option (Second button on the top row of keys.) The correlation is listed as corr = .
regression coefficients
slope
Press Row 3, Column 2 First button in the top row of buttons..  Hit Bottom Right Corner Bottom Right Corner (twice).  Press the LINR option (Second button on the top row of keys.) The slope is listed as b= .
y-intercept
Press Row 3, Column 2 First button in the top row of buttons..  Hit Bottom Right Corner Bottom Right Corner (twice).   Press the LINR option   (Second button on the top row of keys.). The y- intercept is listed as a= .


Calculating combinations and permutations
combinations (nCr)
Enter the n value. Press Row 1, Column 1 Row 6, Column 5 (you should see MATH above the key). You should see options on the screen. We want the second option (PROB): press Second button on the top row of keys., we see more options: nCr is the third, so press The third key on the top row of keys, enter the r value, press Bottom Right Corner.
permutations (nPr)
Enter the n value. Press Row 1, Column 1 Row 6, Column 5 (you should see MATH above the key). You should see options on the screen. We want the second option (PROB): press Second button on the top row of keys., we see more options: nPr is the second, so press Second button on the top row of keys., enter the r value, press Bottom Right Corner.

 

Turning the calculator off
