Elemental Invocations/Quarter Calls

Here I have just listed various invocations I come across in my reading and research.  Feel free to pick and choose lines to make your own verse or read them simply for inspiration.

Oh, spirit Sylphs, Guardians of the East, Rulers of wishes, knowledge and dreams. You who feed the Sacred Flame, Causing it to dance merrily and bright, Lend your powers to our circle this night. We summon thee! (invoking fire pentacle) Oh, spirit Salamanders, Guardians of the South, Rulers of passion, creativity and courage. You who are the Sacred Flame That burns within every being. Lend your powers to our circle this night. We summon thee! (invoking fire pentacle) Oh, spirit Undines, Guardians of the West, Rulers of the sea and all bodies of water, You who control the Sacred Flame, Protecting us from its fury. Lend your powers to our circle this night. We summon thee! (invoking fire pentacle) Oh, spirit Gnomes, Guardians of the North, Rulers of forests, circles, and groves. You who nourish the Sacred Flame, Allowing it to burn ever bright. Lend your powers to our circle this night. We summon thee! (invoking fire pentacle)

Come to me, Air, so cool and clear My words come with ease and also no fear Give me sharp mental focus, creativity too So that positive ends spring from all that I do. Come to me, Fire, brilliant and bright Give me strength and forthrightness all through my life. Warm me with truth and power to set right Whatever is wrong through love and it's light. Come to me, Water, silky and free Compassion and empathy now give to me For soothing life's troubles, both mine and my friends' Understanding and peace from your rivers you send. Come to me, Earth, plants, animals and gold Allow me to grow with the grace of a doe Serene and content, with standards so high Give me purpose, stability and the will to try. Come to me, Akasha, my spirit transform By all the elements, your blessing perform. Help me to balance all I receive, So that this Witch's life says to all, Blessed be!

Oh spirit guardian of the North, Ancient one of the Earth I call thee to come forth and charge this circle with the power of three and rock. Oh spirit guardian of the East, Ancient one of Air I call thee to come forth and charge this circle With the power of the winds. Oh spirit guardian of the South, Ancient one of Fire, I call thee to come forth and charge this circle With the power of flame. Oh spirit guardian of the West, Ancient one of Water, I call thee to come forth and charge this circle With the power of the tides. Charge this circle with your power, Old Ones, For as above, so below.

Air, Fire, Water, Earth Elements of astral birth, I call you now: attend to me! In the Circle, rightly cast. Safe from curse or blast, I call you now, attend to me! From cave and desert, Sea and hill, By wand, blade, and pentacle, I call you now, attend to me! This is my will, so mote it be!

Soft scented stillness that warns of the storm Whisper of wisdom full living and warm Breathe into us wonder at all we may know Welcome, wise wind, from wherever you blow. Bright spark of courage, blaze of desire The passion for change is a wild, raging fire Kindled by will, it burns in our veins Welcome within us, our hearts are your flames. Power of water, power to feel Rising within us, ancient and real Soothed into softness or tossed to extremes Welcome, wild waves from the depths of our dreams. Mother in waiting, child in the womb Newly strung thread waits the night on the loom Earth that we come from, Earth where we go Welcome, as you welcomed us long ago.
