The Roll of Cloth Enigma!
What we know: A man has 100 yards of cloth. He can make a cut in 3 seconds. He would like to cut all the cloth into 1 yard pieces.
Enigma: How long will it take him to cut the 100 yard roll of cloth into 100 pieces?
Solution: 100 pieces from 99 cuts since the last one is not connected. Therefore: 100 X 3 = 297 seconds.
