THE MUSICAL MESSAGE OF TEOTIHUACAN By

The following is a Mayan verse relating to the power of music.

Wind, the Earth is sick with silence.

Though we possess light and color and
fruit, yet we have no music.

We must bestow music on all creation.

To the awakening dawn, to the dreaming man,
to the waiting mother, to the passing water
and the flying bird, life should be all music.

Go then to through the boundless sadness between the
blue smoke and the spaces to the high House of the Sun.

There the father sun is surrounded by makers of music
who blow their flutes sweetly and, with their burning
choir scatter light abroad.

Go bring back to Earth a cluster - the most flowering-
of the musicians and singers.

Wind traversed the Earth that was plunged in
silence and trod with his strength of breath pursued,
till he reached the heavenly roof of the world
where all melodies lived in a nest of light."

If one viewed the Pre Colombian, Mexican city of Teotihuacan from the air, the Pyramid of the Moon could be imagined to represent the body of a stringed musical instrument and the boulevard (Way of the Dead) that stems from its base could also be imagined to represent the instrument's neck.
The idea that the physical positions of the Pyramid of the Moon and the Way of the Dead represented a stringed instrument was suggested by Hugh Harleston jr. and is illustrated in Peter Tompkins' book "The Secrets of the Mexican Pyramids."
Notice: In the illustration (reproduced below) that Harleston determined the strings of his "Teotihuacan Guitar" to be 763. meters in length. This length is established between the physical centers of the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon.
Harleston says that a string of such a length, when plucked, would vibrate at 100 cycles per second and that 2/3 of the string would be 509. meters in length and vibrate at 150 cycles per second. When these string lengths and their respective frequencies are translated in to Ra Mathematical terms, a marvelous relationship that exists between human brain waves, sound, and the dynamic functions of the various atoms comes to light.
I will attempt to describe these relationships as this writing continues.

In Ra Mathematical terms the full length of the Teotihuacan Guitar strings would be 763.407 Red rams (Red Ra meters). There are 763.407 Red Ra feet in the base of the Great Pyramid of Giza and the base of the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan. In addition 763.407 Red rams / .12 = 91.60884 Red rams. This result is the length of the platform in Palenque on which is situated a number of buildings referred to as the "Palace Complex."

It has been determined that a guitar string 763.407 Red rams in length when plucked, would vibrate at 106.02875 cycles per Natural Second of Time (n.s.t.).

106.02875 cycles per n.s.t. is actually 100 times the average human alpha brain wave frequency and average elf wave frequency generated by lightning. 1.0602875 is also the Red format value for H-Bar, which is a constant used in "Quantum Physics" equations to determine such things as the orbital velocity of the electron. H-Bar is derived from the value of "Planck's Constant" which is the "universal constant for energy and action."

Five of the nine Ra format values for the Hunab / H-Bar are presented next.

Ra values that pertain to spectral lines emitted by the elements and Quantum Physics are best described in omega major terms, whereas human brain wave frequencies are best described in Red format terms.
In order to understand the musical message of Teotihuacan one must be acquainted with the "Law of Sympathetic Resonance."

LAW OF SYMPATHETIC RESONANCE

The "Acker Encyclopedia of Physical Science" gives the following definition for the Law of Sympathetic Resonance.
"The reinforcement of the natural vibration of a system, or object by a force acting with the same frequency as the system. Every object, or system has a natural frequency or a frequency at which it will vibrate if displaced, or distorted, and then released.

A child on a swing (subject to earth's gravity) is such a system. Once the swing is pushed it tends to vibrate at its natural frequency. If it is pushed lightly at intervals equal to that frequency the displacement of the swing (how high it goes) increases rapidly. Theoretically the displacement of any resonant system rapidly approaches infinity (unless friction or another dampening force acts).

The natural frequency of an electrical oscillator circuit can be changed by adjusting the capacitance, or inductance in the circuit. A radio station can be "tuned in" by adjusting the capacitor of the receiver to resonate at the frequency of the electromagnetic waves from the broadcasting station.

If the frequency of a light wave matches some natural frequency of an atom's electrical charges, the wave is absorbed by the atom. Thus atoms of gas in the sun's atmosphere absorb light of just those frequencies that correspond to the frequencies of the atoms and this absorption produces the dark Fraunhofer lines which are seen in the solar spectrum."

A reader that has access to a piano can witness the "Law of Sympathetic Resonance" in action, by striking a "C" note on the key board and then observing how the other "C" strings of the instrument resonate sympathetically.

The principle of resonance applies to all vibrating bodies that send out energy in waves, such as the human brain .The similarities that exist between lightning generated Elf-wave and human brain wave emissions suggest that human brain wave activity can be stimulated by the continuous, naturally occurring Elf-waves, or sound (music) via the Law of Sympathetic Resonance. This harmonic idea suggests that the human brain further consists of at least four resonant systems; which would be the Delta, Theta , Alpha, and Beta systems and that the brain wave frequencies that are generated by either of the four systems could be sympathetically reinforced by externally produced waves of similar frequencies.

Bach and the Well Tempered Clavichord

As fate would have it be, Johann Sebastian Bach "intuitively" and therefore "naturally" established the ratios between the musical notes produced by his well tempered clavichord as Ra value ratios. Because of Bach's inspirations Ra diatonic scales of 7 musical tones (notes) are easily established.

For example: The ratio between notes d and c equals 1.125 and the square root of this ratio is 1.060660172 (Green value for the Hunab / H-Bar).

DRUMS OF ICE, HARPS OF FIRE

"Ra Music" has been the subject of research conducted by Professor Randy W. Masters and myself for more than 6 years. We are presently collaborating in the writing of a fourth volume of the "Rods of Amon Ra" series. The title of our work is: "Drums of Ice, Harps of Fire."

The information that follows will deal with what might be someday considered the most important scientific discovery of this century, as well as the next. The musical message of Teotihuacan can be beneficially applied in the fields of physics, chemistry, and most importantly in medicine.

THE RA MEASURING WHEELS

The question of whether or not the builders of the Great Pyramid of Giza and Teotihuacan knew the value of the constant pi to any considerable expression has long been debated. In order to dispel the fact that the constant pi was expressed in the geometry of the Great Pyramid deliberately by its builders, it has been suggested that the pi values found in the structure were the result of the builders use of a "measuring wheel." Such a wheel when rotated 1 full turn would in turn lay out a line equal to the wheel's circumference, and if the diameter of the wheel consisted of 1 unit of a particular measure the circumference line (length) would equal pi (pi being the ratio of a circle's diameter to it circumference). I admit this is a good argument in favor of those who prefer to believe, or would have others believe that the builders of the Great Pyramid unknowingly embodied the value of pi in its dimensions by using a measuring wheel with a 1 unit diameter.

I here and now thank those who attempted to explain this mathematical phenomenon in this manner, as I have found their reasoning to be partially true and very helpful.
In order to bring the real reason that the ancients used measuring wheels in their constructions in to sharp focus, we must consider the very ancient unit of measure that is called the "cubit."

THE BABBLE OF THE CUBITS

The short cubit is unit of linear measure, originally equal to the length of the forearm from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow, or about 17 to 22 inches (43 to 56 centimeters). The so called long cubit is equal to the length that exists between the tip of the middle finger and the shoulder.

Because the cubit was a common unit of measure used in ancient Egypt and elsewhere in the middle east, it has been assumed that a cubit sized unit was employed in laying out the dimensions of the Great Pyramid.

For more than 100 years Egyptologists and other types of pyramid researchers have attempted to determine the size of the cubit that was used in the construction of the Great Pyramid. Consequently everyone to date has arrived at a cubit sized unit that differs in size from those that were suggested by any other person considered to be an authority on such things. The controversy arising from the scholarly disagreements has been named the "Babble of the Cubits."

The names of a few of the cubits thought to have been used in laying out the dimensions of the Great Pyramid are: The royal cubit of Memphis, red cubit, black cubit, pyk belady, sacred cubit, profane cubit, Greek geographical cubit, plus many more.
Because many of these cubit size units do appear to fit in to the pyramid's dimensions in whole number or fractional amounts, it is easy to understand why they are considered to be the basic cubit sized unit that were used in the pyramid. Usually when a particular authority's "pet cubit" does not quite fit a dimension of the pyramid, they attribute the discrepancy to "primitive workmanship."

What has been over looked here, is what has been considered "primitive workmanship" is actually a demonstration of exquisite precision.

THE RA CUBITS (RACS)

What is being mistaken as cubit sized units are actually a certain number of degrees of the circumference of a pi measuring wheel. i.e. 72.9 degrees is equal to a length of .6361725 Red rams. This value is close to the size of Sir Isaac Newton's "Sacred Cubit." Other proposed cubit sized units are actually expressed as a linear unit by the rotation of the Pi measuring wheel to a particular number of degrees.

I have named these units based on degrees of the circumference of a pi measuring wheel "Ra Cubits or Racs." Only to keep in mind that they are somewhat cubit sized. The following chart shows 5 of the 9 Ra values for a unit now identified as "Rac 1."

Note: That this Rac is expressed by 72.9 degrees. The number 729 is the 27th number in the Ra Table of Nines (27 x 27) and also the reciprocal of the "Fine structure Constant of the element hydrogen (.00137172 Omega Minor).

The base length of the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan is in both cases 763.407 Red Rams in length.The following chart shows how Rac 1divides into these measurements.

All Ra Rac values divide evenly in to the dimensions of the Great Pyramid, the Pyramid of the Sun and other buildings located in Teotihuacan, as well as the dimensions of the megalithic structure located at Salsbury, England which is known as "Stonehenge." In addition Rac values are expressed in he geometry of the so called crop glyphs that mysteriously appear in English grain fields.

It has been determined that at least 3 different measuring wheels were used by the ancient builders of the Great Pyramid, Teotihuacan, Stonehenge and Palenque. They were the Pi Wheel with a 1 unit diameter and a pi circumference, the Ankh wheel with a 1.62 unit diameter and Ankh Red circumference (5.08938 Red = Red Pi x Phi) and a Hunab wheel with a .3375 unit diameter and a 1.0602875 unit circumference.

The most fantastic part of the Musical Message of Teotihuacan will be revealed in the chart that soon follows. The total meaning of this information is still beyond my ability to totally describe. Never the less, I will later attempt to describe some apparent physical applications for the data that could be most beneficial to both those of us living today and those of generations yet to come.

Surely we must eventually recognize that we owe a debt to those ancient builders who recorded in stone the true structure and basic dynamic functions of the elements an also described the direct sympathetic mental relationship that we have with these natural phenomena.
Using 106.02875 Red Cycles per n.s.t. as the 2nd octave of "A" and Bach's note ratios the pi wheel lays out lines (based on degrees of its circumference) that relate to musical tones (frequencies).To bring the frequencies listed in the chart in to the range of human hearing move the decimal point two places to the right.

The Ra musical tones were discovered prior to the discovery that their frequencies related to linear units that are expressed by degrees of the Pi measuring wheel.

THE SPECTRAL LINES OF HYDROGEN AND THE RA MUSICAL TONES

The following is a list of the spectral lines of the element hydrogen that range from the deep infra red to the ultra violet ends of the spectrum.

In this case the wave lengths of the element's spectrum should be viewed as representing degrees of the circumference of the pi measuring wheel .

Please refer back to the illustration of the pi measuring wheel for verification.

Taking each note one at a time we obtain quite a bit of astonishing information.

THE RA "C" NOTE

1st octave data: The musical tone of .6361725 Red cycles per n.s.t. frequency is expressed by 72.9 degrees. The number 729 is the 27th number in the Ra Table of Nines (27 x 27) and also the reciprocal of the "Fine Structure Constant for the element hydrogen (.00137172 Omega Minor).
2nd octave data: The musical tone of 1.272345 Red cycles per n.s.t. is expressed by 145.8 degrees. There are 145.8 Omega Major rams in the height of the Great Pyramid. The diameter of the Red Ra Circle is 12.72345 Red units. When this diameter is divided by 9, 12, 2.5 and 4.05 the respective results are: 1.41371666 - - - (Red value for the square root of 2), 1.0602875 (Red Hunab and H-Bar), 5.08938 (Ankh) and 3.141592 - - - (Red pi). The reciprocal of 1.272345 is .785950352 (1/4 of Blue pi).
4th octave data: The musical tone of 5.08938 Red cycles per n.s.t. frequency is expressed by 583.2 degrees. There are 5832. Omega Major inches in the height of the Great Pyramid and 5832. square Omega Major feet in the area of the pyramid's base. The frequency of the tone which is 5.08938 Red cycles per n.s.t. is the Red value for Ankh (pi x phi).
5th octave data: The number of degrees that express the frequency of this octave is 1166.4 . Written as 11664. the value is equal to the square of 108 (4th number in the Ra Table of Nines or 4 x 27).

THE RA "D" NOTE

4th octave data: 656.1 degrees is equal to the number of Omega Major milli-microns that compose the Balmer m3 spectral line of hydrogen.
5th octave data: The frequency of this octave is 11.451105 cycles per n.s.t. or Red pi x 364.5 (Ra value for the Balmer constant for hydrogen) = 1145.1105 (circumference of the "Balmer Circle").
6th octave data: 2624.4 degrees is equal to the number of Omega Major milli-microns that compose the Brackett m6 spectral line of hydrogen. There are 26244. square Omega Major feet in the area of the Great Pyramid's diagonal cross-section and 2.6244 square Omega Rams in the area of the "triangular stone" that is located above the pryamid's present entrance.

The frequency of this octave is 229.0221 Red cycles per n.s.t.. There are 229.0221 Red rams in the length of the base of the Great Pyramid.

RA "E" NOTE

1st octave data: 91.125 degrees establishes the frequency of this tone. The number .91125 is the reciprocal of 1.097393690 (The Rydberg Constant for hydrogen).

The Ra value for the weight of the electron is 9.1125 x 10 -28 Ra grams.

A unit of weight used in pre-dynastic Egypt called the "Heavy Qedet" (used to weigh gold and silver) consisted of 9.1125 grams. The capacity of the coffer in the Great Pyramid amounts to an even number of these units.
3rd octave data: 364.5 degrees establishes the frequency of this tone. 364.5 (13.5 x 27) is the Ra value for the Balmer Constant for hydrogen. The frequency of this octave which is 3.1808625 cycles per n.s.t. is 1/4 of the diameter of the Red Ra Circle.

RA "F" NOTE

1st, 2nd and 3rd octave data: the degrees that respectively establish the frequencies of these octaves are 972 degrees (see Lyman m3 spectral line of hydrogen), 194.4 degrees (see Brackett m8 spectral line of hydrogen), and 388.8 (see Balmer m8 spectral line of hydrogen),

RA "G" NOTE

1st octave data: The number of degrees that establishes the frequency of this octave is 109.35 (see Paschen m6 spectral line of hydrogen). The frequency of this octave is .95425875 Red cycles per n.s.t. is equal to 9 x .10602875 (Hunab and H-Bar). Also see the second octave of "A."
3rd octave data: The number of degrees that establishes the frequency of this octave is 437.4 (27 x 1.62).
4 th octave data: The frequency of this octave is 7.63407 cycles per n.s.t. There are 763.407 Red Ra feet in the base lengths of the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan. The Teotihuacan Guitar strings are 763.407 Red Rams in length.
Note: The fact that the dimensions of the Great Pyramid can be expressed in musical tones that are also human brain wave compatible (harmonious and sympathetic) tells us that if the ancient structure rang out its dimensions as musical notes, we as humans would by hearing, sympathetically respond to the depths of our consciousness. The dimensions of the buildings and spatial lay outs of Teotihuacan, Palenque and Stonehenge also contain within their dimensions melodies that would most certainly quicken our spirits. It would be interesting to sound the Ra tone values for certain dimensions within the passages and chambers of the Great Pyramid (where the dimensions and their associated tones apply). Would you like to guess as to what might happen thereafter?

RA "A" NOTE

2 nd octave data: 121.5 degrees establishes the frequency of this octave. There are 121.5 Omega Major milli-microns in the Lyman m2 spectral line of hydrogen. Lyman m2 is the most intense line of hydrogen (containing more energy than any other of the hydrogen lines). The frequency of this octave is 1.0602875 Red cycles per n.s.t. This number is the Red Ra value of the Hunab and H-Bar and also the average alpha brain wave frequency generated by a meditating human being as well as the average elf wave generated by lightning.

The fact that the wave length of the most intense spectral line of hydrogen (viewed as degrees) creates the frequency of the average human alpha brain wave does sum things up quite well.
3rd octave data: The number of degrees that establishes the frequency of this octave is 243. The number 243 is the ninth number in the Ra Table of Nines (9 x 27).
4 th octave data: The number of degrees that establishes the frequency of this octave is 486. There are 486. Omega Major milli-microns in the Balmer m4 spectral line of hydrogen. There are 486. Omega Major feet in the height of the Great Pyramid of Giza. 486 is the 18 th number in the Ra Table of Nines (18 x 27).
5 th octave data: The number of degrees that establishes the frequency of this octave is 972. There are 972. Omega Major milli-microns in the Lyman m4 spectral line of hydrogen. 972 is the 36 th number in the Ra Table of Nines (36 x 27).
The Ra "B" note repeats much of the data expressed by the previously described Ra notes of music.
The fact that the spectral wave lengths (viewed as degrees of a pi measuring wheel) can be translated in to musical tones suggests that melodies can be composed that are actually sympathetically related to the elements themselves as well as chemical compounds. Imagine a perfect melody for hydrogen, oxygen, gold, and silver or for water or salt ect.. Now imagine what affect these elemental melodies might have on a listener. Consider the chemical composition of a medication translated in to music.

Affective Ra frequencies that pertain to wave lengths emitted by various elements have been determined and physically applied in experiments. The results of these experiments defy what are presently considered certain "unalterable" laws of physics.

Research pertaining to Ra Music and other uses of Ra elemental frequencies is presently underway. Look to this web site for future up dates of any important future findings that might result from this research.

The yet to be developed technologies of the new millennium are bound to be based on the Ra system of mathematics that is provided by nature itself.

Linking back to Nefer's Temple you will find the article titled: The S.E.T.I. Messages. The 82 tones that compose these 9 extraterrestrial, radio telescopic messages relate to the Ra Table of Nines, which in turn describes certain information the extraterrestrials sincerely wanted to impart to us. Looking at the tone values as degrees of a pi measuring wheel gives us another way to interpret the messages.

Perhaps the extraterrestrial language of musical tones and corresponding colors, as fictionalized in the motion picture "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" should be considered as a basis for serious study?
