Arriving at KDFW runway 17R one of the best models of the 747-400 on the net
this is an on going project of Melvin Rafi's that has seen a lot of changes
and promises to continue to be refined and updated.
The recent changes include the addition of a 3D nose gear bay and fully textured
landing gear, landing lights have been added to the wings.
The addition of 3D main gear bays are said to be coming soon, and main gear
Doors have been added. The aircraft uses High side count polygons that give it
a very smooth look, and the engines have 3D rotating turbines.
The aircraft has also had added Textured slats and textured flaps, and the flight dynamics have been upgraded.
As of the writing of this review version 1.8B has
been released and added larger Pratt & Whitney PW4056 engines.
As we depart KDFW on 17R to Download version 1.8B.
I say it is one of, if not the, Best of the Best.
