Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy...
...is a disease infecting cattle that turns the poor beast's
brains to mush. As the animals' condition deteriorate, they
start to spaz out and do the Macarena. Predatory carnivores
such as humans who consume the flesh of infected cattle then
contract a variant of the disease (whether due to contracting
the infecting agent from under-cooked meat, or due to poisons
generated in the meat by the disease, I don't know) called
Creutzfeldt-Jakob Desease (CJD). As of November 97, twenty
in Britain and France have died. (For perspective, that many
Americans are killed by air bags every two years; the feds
killed more children in Waco on April 19, 1993; ten times that
died on TWA 800; and, according to the CDC, 9,000 Americans
die of food poisoning every year.)
As might be expected, a quaranteen was put on British cattle
and tens of thousands of head have been slaughtered to stop
the spread of Mad Cow Disease. In the US, the govt has
extended its ban on cattle to include all of Europe.
There is a fascinating detail, however, which, for political
reasons, has been omitted from all the left-wing dominant
media's reporting. Namely, the United States banned British
beef too late to prevent its spread to our shores. The
Mad-Cow disease is already widespread in the US, with a
particular concentration of cases in Washington, DC. Here,
they call it feminism.
