This shooting took place on 2-13-97, and the following is a brief explanation of what happened:

A male came to the drug house location (an apartment) and pulled a gun (item #5) on the male with the drugs. The male with the drugs pulled his gun (item #7) on the male coming to his residence. It is unclear on who shot who first, but the male who had the drugs was shot in the neck, and the male coming to his residence was shot in the head. The male with the drugs girlfriend, who stays at the apartment with him was shot in the arm (it is also still unclear who's gun shot the girl). The 18 month old child, who the mother is the female that got shot in the arm, and the father of the boy is the male shot in the neck, was not injured. (Department Of Family And Children Services was notified) I rode with the male shot in the neck down to the hospital in the ambulance, since he was now under arrest, along with the other two parties involved. When I arrived at the hospital, I checked the females purse for possible weapons and found over $1600.00, which was seized as evidence.

All parties involved in this incident survived. The male and female who live at the location were charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine, along with reckless conduct for the fact they were openly selling drugs with their 18 month old child present. I hope they all get the jail time that they deserve, and may god be with the child, and my prayers go out to him to give him the strength to follow a better path.
