Dear Sir,
I am very disgusted by the opinion given by Faisol in a letter from
Germany regarding the rape victims in Indonesia. He seems to belittle
the effort by the Chinese Communities in trying to get guarantee of
safety in Indonesia.
Let me tell you, Mr. Learned and Wise Faisols.
You can talk just because all these tragedies do not affect you.
If your Mother or Grandmother is raped by those worst than barbarians, I
think you will be singing a different tunes. Or if your wife or sisters
private parts are mutilated by those animals after being raped you will
know how those Chinese feel. Do not pe proud. In fact you should be
humble and pray that these incidents will not be repeated. At this hour
of shame you should at least show concern to those innocent victims.
It's through no faults of thge victims that the Indonesians are
impoverished.
The Chinese work very hard to gather wealth. They do not rob or steal.
Every rupiah is legally earned. They save and they sacrifice to be rich.
Wealth does not fall down onto their laps from the sky. Many of them
stinge at the expense of leisure to be a little wealthy. Inspite of that
not all Chinese are really that rich!!!!
So what on earth must you Indonesians take on the Chinese. They help in
building your economy too.
At the time of writing , my heart cries out for the poor innocent
victims. Nothing much I can do except to pray for your safety and
health. I will always be with all of you in my daily prayers.
MAY LORD JESUS BE ALWAYS BE WITH ALL OF YOU AND PROTECT YOU ALL. AMEN.
