Dear Mr. Carter,
As a representative of Fire, an internet-based religious organization, I would like to offer our services
as a source on "occult" religions for your excellent drama program, The X-Files.
Fire was founded last year to eeducate the public about such non-mainstream religions
as witchcraft, druidism, asatru, and santerķa. We are made up of high-profile
and civilian members of these religions, from countries as far apart as the United States and New Zealand,
all of which receive the X-Files.
We are uniquely qualified to provide information about nearly any non-mainstream
religion imaginable, both from a wealth of printed information and from personal experience.
We have noticed some inaccuracies in your otherwise excellent program, most notably in
"Die Hand Die Verletzt" and "Sanguinarium." In the hopes of encouraging more "occult"
episodes with fewer religious misrepresentations in the future, please find enclosed fact sheets on
Wicca and Satanism, along with a guide to our organization. We hope to hear from you soon.
