Comments: I am very interested in your work and would like to get more involved. My heritage comes from the Hodenosaunee, Seneca nation. I am writing you fom my nieces computer, but I can be contacted at: Scott Taylor Kichman 1012 Pine Top Ln Gatlinburg TN 37738 . I live very close to the Cherokee reservation in NC and am just now beginning to get in contact with my native roots. I have copied down some names and addresses of some of the prisoners and plan to start correspondence. What else can I do to educate the masses on the benifets of the Native American lifestyle? It is what I truly believe in. My profession lies in forestry and natural resources, my services are at your disposal. Thank you Scott

Comments: Aloha e Laura, Congratulations on a great job on your home page. Many of the same issues facing an involved Native American face the Native Hawaiian people as well. We are truly brothers and sisters at the heart; many facets of our histories and concepts are strikingly similar. To you I say "`Onipa`a", Hawaiian for "dig in, persevere". Keep up the fight, Laura. Aloha from Hawai`i to all native people. Larry K.

Comments: What a beautiful site! It's nice to see humanity embedded in all the technology we amuse ourselves with. Just want to pass on my being here and share some thoughts. I am born to a 'white' American family but have been as far from actually being 'American' as my father traveled. I was born in Ethiopia. Being 'white' and living in all corners of the world I have a very unique, if not distorted, view of the world as I was always the minority. In my travels I have been through serious 'soul searching' and have found the truths embedded in the 'Native Indian' way to be the most pure and universal. I feel the understanding of the 'Great Spirit' and for all those who wish to label me a 'wannabe' or a 'no blood white', truth knows no boundries. I want to say that there is a universe out here that is waiting for the true dawning of the greatest 'belief' of all time- the Native Indian 'religion'. Your stories of incarcerated Indians is sad. And unfortunately they are not the only race alone in their fight for 'religious' beliefs, or just as importantly, human rights. May we all find comfort and strength that we aren't the only ones alone. It's a small, small, small world. 'energy follows thought'
