In early January, Greenpeace International announced that they intended to end funding for Greenpeace
Ireland and close the office because they hadn't achieved self-sufficiency.
Negotiations with the international body are ongoing and Greenpeace staff and volunteers are adamant that
the Irish branch will remain open and they continue to campaign on the issues that affect us all. To do this
Greenpeace Ireland needs to double its support.
Greenpeace is an international environmental organisation that works in Ireland and throughout the world
