Established in 1989 by Tom Buffone, TalossaFest has easily become one of the two premier events on the Talossan social calendar (The other one is the anniversary celebration in December).

NEWS:

31 March: Big time delay in news! Been busy. A funny thing happened on the way to the Party; I got elected PM!
Anyway, it's obvious thre won't be any hats, what with Wardlow taking off. But as PM, I've established a Planning Committee, consisting of me, Ben, John Jahn, Mark Pendl, and Gary Schwichtenberg. TF98 will live!

5 March: The TF98 gif is up (see top of info sidebar!). I'll leave the link to the bitmap up, so all of you can download the TF98 logo. I'm thinking of designing some TF98 computer stuff, like icons, wallpaper, etc. Perhaps I will make a Win95 Theme for TF98! (Sorry, Dan...)

4 March: Sorry for the delay, but here goes: Dan Wardlow (your PM) has a friend in SF (home of my favorite football team) who will design and produce special haxhi hats for all of us making The Trip. Proposed designs include a beret (my choice), a chef-style hat, and a pillbox-type thing. Maybe it would be fairer if we got the hats, then Ben could bestow them upon us at a ceremony! So if you are getting a hat, don't wear it until Ben plops it down onto yer noggin.
Inspired by the fact that Dan Wardlow has referred to TalossaFest '98 as 'TF98', I designed a TF98 bitmap picture for anyone who wants to have it. Naturally, it requires Microsoft Windows 3.0 or higher (I think that includes everyone except maybe TWO of you guys). Use it as wallpaper for your Windows desktop, or convert it to GIF or JPG for the rest of the world to see. I plan to do that myself soon. That way our Macintosh brethren can enjoy the simple pleasure of the TF98 logo. Wouldn't it look great on a baseball cap? Of course it would!
Also, all old news (oxymoron, I know) has been relocated to our 'Archive' section (see link at top of page). I can't have 200 days worth of news on one page and still keep it current! The Archive (and this spot) are updated at the beginning of the month. Azul!

This year is looking to be a huge affair, with more than 20 Talossans expected to show up. There will be games, songs, food, speeches (by the King and the PM, no doubt), and basic Talossan fun. Perhaps we'll even see Manos: Hands of Fate or some other similarly idiotic film we can all MST-ify.

Wanna be a part of the fun, but aren't a Talossan citizen? Become one! It's rather painless, and well worth it when you travel to the Motherland for the "R.T. Party."

Stay tuned to this page for updates on activites, personalities, and gossip. Until then, read the Støtanneu, Vénéneux: The Talossan Pop Culture Magazine, or Wittenberg.

Here are some photos. If yours is not here, tell Ben! If you haven't submitted a photo yet, blame yourselves.
