Adoption Reunion Registry under the former Adoption Acts: (Passive Registry June 1987 ===>Active Registry Oct 1991 ===> Open Records Nov 4, 1996) - approximately 600 no contact vetoes were transferred from the B.C. Adoption Reunion Registry and were converted to no-disclosure vetoes under the new Adoption Act. These converted vetoes are included in the total 2990 Disclosure Vetoes listed above . - See Section 99 of the Adoption Act, "Continuation of vetoes" |
