It is interesting to note that the kingdom
of David and Solomon, which is seen as the golden-age of Israel's history, did not
include Tel-Aviv, Ashkelon, Ashdod, or Acco...major cities in the modern State of
Israel. Back then the borders were changing as often as they are today. The modern State of Israel is shown in red on the map.
