Web Site for UNA Sarasota-Manatee Chapter
During the reported period, the Web Site (www.oocities.org/CapitolHill/Lobby/9703) for the UNA Sarasota-Manatee Chapter, has been upgraded six times by Daniel Luu. Twenty additional pages have been added since June 1998. These pages cover (a) the annual report (from June 1997 to May 1998) that was presented by the Board of Directors at the last annual meeting, held on May 23, 1998; (b) monthly activities (luncheons, seminars, etc.), from June to December 1998; and (c) the report on the Convention of the UNA Florida Division, at Jacksonville on May 15-17, 1998 (prepared with the assistance ofWade Matthews). The UNA-USA logo was also included in the home page. In order to facilitate direct access to other UN offices (apart from UN and UNA), links with the Web sites of the following UN agencies have been established: UNDP, UNESCO, ILO, WHO and FAO.
For the fiscal year 1999, efforts will be made to add more detailed information on the work of the Chapter and its related activities, to the Chapter's Web site. If the memory capacity permits, some selected pictures may be also included to illustrate the interests of the Chapter.
