Thank you for your e-mail and your kind words of encouragement to run for President.

I do not know what the future holds. If I decide to seek higher office, I would very much appreciate your support.

For now, I am focused on my re-election campaign. No Texas Governor has ever been elected back-to-back four-year terms. I intend to be the first, so I am campaigning as hard as I possibly can.
