Erwin J. Amos Dies Suddenly

Erwin J. Amos, 63, a resident here since 1909, died Wednesday, evening at his home, 942 Bellevue Place. Mr. Amos, who was born May 25, 1883, in St.Charles, Minn., was a watchmaker. He worked for 22 years for Case LeRoy but, opened his own business last December.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mabelle Amos; eight daughters and four sons, Robert William, Theodore J., Mrs. Nellie Barnen, Mrs. Beverly Nelson and Mrs. Geraldine Stauffendberg in Kalamazoo, Pfc. Charles R.,with the marines in China, Pvt. James E., Camp LeJeune, N.C., Mrs. Alice J. Granger, Schoolcraft, Mrs. Marjorie B. Smith, Mrs. Donna Snow and Mrs. Iris Sniezek of Chicago, and Mrs. Jeannette Plantz, of Plymouth; his mother Mrs. Alma Amos, Dover, Minn; a brother and five sisters all living in Minnesota; 17 grand-children and five great-grand-children.
