Biography

Very little is known about Turpus Cauza other then Kevin, Grant and Josh came from an earlier band called Hollowman Rusk. The only other information is gathered from a local 'zine called Entertainment Brantford. Entertainment Brantford?, Issue #1, January 1996 mentioned that the band had one track on the Brantford Vibe CD called "Down."

Entertainment Brantford?, Issue #2, March 1996 mentions that they are on a list of confirmed entries, as of February 10th 1996 for a battle of the bands at the Turnaround on Colborne Street in downtown Brantford. Which would later turn out to be a bogus contest.

The bar wants to help bands get some exposure, and so far the Showcase has provided some excellent entertainment... April 21 saw the Virus 3 hastily cover for Turpus Cauza, who cancelled at the last second....

In Other News...

By Dan Walker

Soundzone Productions latest event was shut down due to a court order against them. The show, which was to be held June 14 in Vanessa featuring a number of bands, was killed only the day before. The official reason given was that the land was not zoned for such a show, and with the threat of a hefty fine the company had to pull out. Soundzone will now focus on a really big bash in August, probably at the Harlequin Club here in Brantford...
