Well, priceline.com's WebHouse is no more. But true to form, they provided excellent customer service up until the very end.
When Priceline shut down their "Name your Own Price for Groceries" section, I had close to $20.00 of unpurchased groceries in my account. But they only had me due for a $3.00 refund of unused half price tokens. I sent them an e-mail with my last unredeemed purchase number. Three days later, I get a $30.00 refund to my credit card as an act of good faith. Gee wiz! I wouldn't expect to make a $10.00 profit from any company, but especially not a defunct one. That made me miss them even more. I really enjoyed getting all my milk for half price. *sigh*
But all is not lost. If a local area supermarket has a presence on the Net, I'll list them here.

A&P Supermarket is loacated just outside of Co-op City at East Gun Hill Road and the Hutchinson River Parkway. Be sure to click their Savings link for money saving coupons.

STOP&SHOP (formally known as Edwards) is located in the Peartree Mall on Co-op City Blvd. Shoppers can continue to double their manufacturer's coupons but now you will need use the Stop & Shop Card to do so. You can apply for one on-line or pick it up in the store.
