I adore Barbie. I wish I could play with Barbie all day long, and be young again. I used to spend HOURS and HOURS straight just being with Barbie in the world of that particular day. I do not go to those worlds any longer, but I get as close as I can get to those days of youth and imagination by collecting Barbie Dolls, and searching for new gossip, pictures and sites about her while on the WWW. 
Not so easy. Yet, I am here, 'building'... because I can. I can do it for me, and feel like I have accomplished something. I certainly don't do it for my husband, who would rather I spend some time off the computer.
Those of us who love Barbie are fascinated about her entire image: personality, fashion, career, you name it. Because it is ENDLESS. It is what we create in our minds. Barbie is known as being able to do anything. Of course, we all want to believe that WE could do anything, that's why we love Barbie. We believe in her.
Barbie will always have my attention no matter how old I become, because I will always want to believe in myself. And that alone takes a lot of creativity and imagination.
