"Girls Club" - Series Premiere MONDAY October 21, 2002. North America. The show WAS to take over the "Ally McBeal" 9 p.m. period behind David E. Kelley's "Boston Public." As of October 30, 2002, shortly after the second episode aired, the series has been CANCELLED by FOX due to poor ratings. No reruns are planned. "While I am disappointed that the show did not succeed, I remain proud of the entire cast and crew of 'girls club,"' creator Kelley said in a statement. See more info in the links. Oh well, we hope Gretchen can move on to better projects on the big screen very very soon!! ^_^
This one I am very excited about:
Girl's Club Three young female attorneys are determined to make their mark
on the justice system in 'girls club,' the latest re-invention of the legal
drama from David E. Kelley, creator of "Ally McBeal" and "The Practice."
A relationship-driven series set in San Francisco, one of the world's most
romantic and vibrant cities, 'girls club' explores the personal and professional
lives of three twenty-seven-year-olds - best friends since law school - who live
together. Lynne Camden (Gretchen Mol), Jeannie Falls (Kathleen Robertson "Beverly Hills, 90210") and
Sarah Mickle (Chyler Leigh "That '80s Show") share a desire to achieve success and fulfillment
in their lives, despite being employed by an "old boys club" law firm.
Thanks to pine_cleaner for the tip!

Go-Go Tales - Rumored? Supermodel Naomi Campbell, "Sopranos" sexpot Drea de Matteo, "XXX" stunner Asia Argento and bombshell actress Gretchen Mol are set to play strippers in a movie by maverick "Bad Lieutenant" director Abel Ferrara. Ferrara wrote and will direct the movie, "Go-Go Tales," in which Christopher Walken is in talks to play the impresario of the celeb-studded jiggle joint. Rap mogul Damon Dash (Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records) will be one of the fleshy flick's producers...Mol are eager to do it if [her] schedule permits.
"We're also shopping it as a pilot for a weekly TV series, with the same players," Ferrara revealed. "We're talking to
HBO, we're talking to everybody." (Source: SALTYT)
