And be sure to join
the Gretchen Club
(a mailing list where we can also CHAT) and participate

Glamourous Gretchen Connection BBS
There was lapse in updates when The Founder handed over this site to me a few years ago so you will see some holes
here and there. Much of the "wordings" still remain for nostalgia sake. Still a work in progress lah. The Staff have been
hard at work and have integrated the old and new material into:
- The Archived Images - Check the last two sections "Future Updates" and "NOW" for heaps of goodies. ^_^
- The Archived Articles - All organized for you reading pleasure.
...and while we anticipate "girls club: The Entire Season" to come on DVD, we will look forward to her new "Bettie Page"
project. I will try to keep this page up to date to the best of my ability!! Enjoy! (and yes...you are listening to the "Fever") ^.^
And now you can link me!!!! Just copy these images to your site and point the link to Glamourous Gretchen Connection,

take on the role if you're not prepared to do that ... I would consider what she did extremely artistic." [Page]
did not meet with Mol for the HBO and Killer Films production, which will come out next year. (SOURCE:
New York Daily News)
Synpopsis Page was the ultimate girl-next door, and one of the most popular
Playboy centerfolds. Page challenged the conservative 1950s, posing
as a fierce dominatrix and earning both a cult underground following
and Senate Committee investigation on juvenile delinquency,
essentially a witch-hunt orchestrated by a senator from her home
state of Tennessee bent on exploiting her as a stepping stone to the
White House.
At the height of her popularity, Bettie disappeared. But in 1979 and
1982, Page (a diagnosed schizophrenic) tried to stab several people
to death and was institutionalized. (quoted from articles in links below...)
Joining Gretchen in the cast will be: Lili Taylor (Casa de los babys), David
Strathairn (Twisted), Jonathan M. Woodward (Pipe Dream), Cara
Seymour (Gangs of New York), Tara Subkoff (The Cell), Kevin
Carroll (The Secret Lives of Dentists), and Jared Harris (RESIDENT EVIL APOCALYPSE).

About This Page
Tha Founder came up with the idea in March of 1998 to make this website because he wanted something fresh other than Uma.
He was just pasting things here and there with Uma. At the time (and to this day), there were no Gretchen Mol sites.
Well, here's what this page is about:
All About - Everything you wanted to know about Gretchen. The complete life of Gretchen Mol. Well, all that I know from my sources.
You'll find Facts and fan mail address; Articles from magazines and newspapers; and BONUS! a Profile I wrote plagiarizing left and right! Check the page out.
|
Career - A promising career ahead for Gretchen...In depth analysis of Gretchen's movies, with reviews from Fat Boy himself Roger Ebert and the Late Great Gene Siskel.
Also facts and links so phat it'll make you hurl. Check the page out.
|
Download - Unfortunately, the main attraction. Audio, video, and images from every source possible. Check the page out.
|
Link - There are no Gretchen Mol web pages out there...Only the best links are here. Check the page out.

Nic Opinion
I noticed Gretchen on the cover of Vanity Fair's annual "Hollywood Issue" and was at first,
impacted by her beauty. Then I recognized her from minor roles in Donnie Brasco and Girl 6. I found out
that she had did The Deli, which co-starred Ice T. That by itself is awesome. Her dedication to quality in work
is what really impresses me. She keeps it real when others
are selling out. I see superstar in this kid, just like Uma. No more lame girlfriend roles. Hollywood was ready to pump
her before she was a star, Vanity Fair put out a cover proclaiming her "The IT Girl" in 1998. The amazing cover
only made critics notice her figure than her talent...they called it a curse and sadly, her career never really took off
the way one would dream of in Hollywood. Roles opposite Hollwood's biggest stars never made the money the media wants.
Hyped TV roles last only two weeks. But that's just fine with our Gretchen. Give her meaty indie roles and you can
understand why she shies away from L.A. for the more cozy New York atmosphere. There she can hone her craft on the off
Broadway scene. For there are too few actors left who desire the craft as much as Gretchen does...so this is a salute, to
the Glamourous Gretchen Mol! We at the CDK will continue to support her work! I admire her dedication to not
work for the salary and do a big budget movie where special effects are the main characters.
This isn't a shrine, it's an information area on the
career and life of Gretchen Mol. I'm making it as legitimate as possible: no gossip, no bull! Everything
here is completely non-profit and is not endorsed by anyone. I say what I wanna with no Hollywood big shot telling
me how to promote Gretchen. It is not an official site, it is MY website! I do what I want to!
It's the fan site with a difference....The original CDK philosophy since 1997!!!!
Thank U
First and foremost, I'd like to thank Gretchen for the inspiration! What a wonderful career! We're still behind you!
Keep up the good work! Thanks to all who contributed to GGC and The CDK Staff (MZA, Jakob, Snoopy, et al.
... who incidentally have not updated the site in a long time :P)! I'd like to thank my "source," Stacia, Saen, the peeps at INDIE, Bill, Ken, The Bhutan, Patman, Freda, T., Jen, and Tim! Thanks
to all who contributed to Gretchen Club as well! The recent pics donated, the videos of Gretchen's projects, thanks to all
the fans who came by and provided me with the material for this website.
You know...I cannot believe it has been over five years since this website has been up. It is a collection of Gretchen
material since 1998 when I first discovered Gretchen. Technically, it was also in 1998 when The Founder was enamoured
with Gretchen and collected GIFs and JPGs from the practically nowhere. Begging webmasters of Claire Forlani and Kirsten
Dunst fansites to scan Gretchen pictures from the same magazine. Almost simultaneuously, construction on
Da Art of Mol! and the unleashing of this humble site into cyberspace happened in the summer of 1998. There have been no
imitators and duplicators, it has been a lonely ride as probably the only Gretchen website out there. The Founder wanted
this site to be aggressively publicized and probably
managed to get Gretchen's attention. I, on the other hand, would rather keep Glamourous Gretchen Connection! low key yet I am grateful to meet all the wonderful fellow worshippers
of the glamourous Gretchen Mol. They have kept me busy!! ^_^;
(The Founder sez: Gretchen if you're out there, I'm sorry we lost contact but I've been
working hard "behind" the scenes on this website and would like to hear from you. )
